Our fire inspectors are certified by the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies, which has been providing certification programs since 1961. Our technicitions are certified in Fire Protection Engineering Technology.
Our procedures for inspections typically occurs as follows:
- Office Managers are informed of the testing
- Fire alarm dispatch is notified to take the system offline
- Full system testing takes place
- Building manager is informed of any issues
- System is brought back online
- Report is prepared
- Repairs, if necessary, are scheduled
- Repairs are completed and devices are all retested
- A tag is placed on the control panel indicating that the building has been inspected, and a pdf report is emailed to management.
Our fire equipment inspections conform to the following standards:
- NFPA 12 for Carbon Dioxide and Fire Extinguishing Systems
- NFPA 12A for Halon 1301
- NFPA 17 for Dry-Chemical
- NFPA 17A for Wet-Chemical
- NFPA 2001 for Clean Agent.
