The requirements of NFPA 72, National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code, shall be used as referenced within the adopted ICC codes for the design, installation, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems in South Carolina except as modified by these regulations.
Title 6, Chapter 9, of the SC Code of Laws requires Counties and Municipalities to enforce the SC Building Code Council Statewide Modifications within their jurisdictions.
